The two’s groovy house remake provides a disco-tinged sound guaranteed to take over the charts, clubs, and airwaves as summer approaches. Maurizio Colella better known as EDX has been making a name for himself spinning at the world’s finest clubs and biggest events. As well as holding a weekly summer residency 2011 at one of the most prominent dance clubs in the world, Space, Ibiza. The well respected album consisted of a track called “Give It Up For Love”, an emotive track featuring the voice of John Williams. Mysto & Pizzi takes the precious track and turned the guitar driven original into a synth filled progressive track that created an anthemic feel. The very first track from Van She’s forthcoming album that is set to be released early July 2012 under Modular “Idea Of Happiness” is taken for a rework by Ed Banger dj/producer SebastiAn. The original indie track from the Aussie musicians is transformed by SebastiAn into a nu-disco, indie dance like tune offering a funky beat meshed in perfectly with the vocals. Modular released SebastiAn’s remix today along with the original mix and other remixes from Herve’s Room 1, What So Not, and Jonti’s Skinny Dipping At Red Leaf.

This weeks Trance Around The World ‘Record of the Week’ comes from Russian producer Arty. Hosted by Above & Beyond, the 424th instalment of their weekly TATW episode features the newest production from Arty entitled, “Open Space”. Responsible for anthemic tunes such as “Around The World” and “Kate”, some including Armin van Buuren, claimed it to be a combination of house and trance, or ‘trouse’, regardless of the genre, Arty continues to produce exceptional tunes with the likes of ”Open Space” to prove just that.
